Crystal Bay offers a variety of activities for homeowners to get to know each other and become involved in our community. Whether it's reading, exploring different venues, kayaking or community enhancements, you're sure to find something of interest. View Calendar.

Book Club
Ladies do you love books and getting lost in a good read? Are you looking for ways to get to know some of your neighborhood friends? Come and join our Book Club.

It’s a great opportunity to make new friends and discover a new type of reading genre you might never chose to read on your own. And, it’s the number one reason our group members say that they enjoy the club. Our club meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday each month. We rotate our “Bookie” of the month and place to meet - usually right here in the “hood”.

Any of our Board members can direct you to the current club leader to find out more about turning the page to some great adventures and neighborhood comradery. Contact a Board member.

Events Committee
The Social Committee is a group of volunteers who organize a wide variety of activities for Crystal Bay homeowners. They help beautify our area with holiday decorations and enhance meeting activities with special decorative touches.

If you would like to help out, this committee always welcomes volunteers.

Lunch Bunch
The Lunch Bunch group provides an opportunity for the ladies of Crystal Bay to get together the third Wednesday of every month at a local restaurant. Each month we experience a new venue, share a few laughs and enjoy each other’s company.

Whether you are new to the area or not, Lunch Bunch is a great way to experience the cuisine of Greenwood and the surrounding communities.

Email Teresa for more information.

Ladies of the Lake Kayaking
If you’re looking for a fun adventure, join the Ladies of the Lake kayakers in our community. While gliding along the lake, you’ll share a bond with fellow enthusiasts, build camaraderie and friendship. And, in addition to being easy, enjoyable, and fun, kayaking is also an excellent low-impact workout.
Kayaking events are coordinated during the spring, summer and fall months.

Contact Anne Marie if interested.

Romeo Breakfast

Romeo Breakfast – Retired Old Men Eating Out – is an informal gathering that provides the men of our community with a get together the second Wednesday of each month at a local restaurant.

They spend time together discussing the latest news, weather and other topics of interest. It’s another opportunity to get to know your Crystal Bay neighbors. All gents are welcome – there’s no age requirement to join the gathering.

Area Clean Up
Our residents are committed to the Adopt A Highway mission of eradicating litter and promoting beautification in our great state. We have a contract with SCDOT and their Adopt A Highway program to pick up trash at least four times a year along Rt 72 on either side of the front gate for about a mile either way.

We usually select a Saturday from 9-12 to coincide with the Laurens County Cleanup and/or Lake Greenwood Cleanup. And, you may also see us in our clean-up gear on other days as well.

We’re proud to show off a litter-free highway at our front gate.

Contact Walt to find out how you can join your neighbors and get involved.
